This week and for the last few it has seemed to me that the deals are fewer and fewer. So I took $100.00 from our Entertainment Envelope and with a gift card that I had I placed an order with Omaha Steaks!
Then I also went shopping with the left over from last weeks grocery budget, and $29.00 from the above and I bought.
Produce: 3 tomatoes, one five lb bag of red skinned potatoes, four ears of corn, 6 bananas , and 5 peaches
Meat and Seafood: 2 pkgs of lunch meat, 2lbs tilipia, 1.5lbs of hamburger, 3chicken breast, one Hormel family meal
Dairy:One 12 pk eggs, one pkg of Yoplait plus yogurt, One carton of orange juice,2pkgs of shreded cheese
Drinks: 6 Bottles of Powerade
Prepared Foods: One loaf of arnold bread, Doritto, Snyder Pretzels,Pringles Snack,one can of Planters Canned Peanuts,2 jars Bertolli spaghetti sauce, one pkg of Archway cookies,one small jar of kraft mayo,one jar Motts applesauce, 3 boxes of Uncle Ben’s rice,4 jars of Newman’s Salsa, one jar of Marie’s salad dressing,2 Betty Crocker muffin mixes
Candy: One pkg twizzlers, and one fun bar pkg of Almond joys
Health and Beauty: One 12pk Cottonelle, one 40ct advil , one 40ct aleeve and one jar of nail polish remover
Total for all of the above after coupons: $61.64
So out of my $100.00 grocery budget this week I have : $38.36 left I have $29.00 out of the entertainment money left and I have $41.48 left over from last weeks budget (I can choose to put $100.00 back in my entertainment envelope / or I can stock up on some extra items and sales with my total of $108.84 which is what I am going to do)
We really don’t need anything and we have enough likely for two weeks but I will stock up this week and then if I do not go shopping next week I will put the $100.00 back in the entertainment envelope or I will earn more from my clearing out the clutter and restock both my groceries and my envelopes.
